WHAT :
Acting for Cinema: Perform multiple roles in front of the camera under authentic filming conditions. This is a unique opportunity to play lead roles in short cinematic sequences, guided by an award-winning director and film acting coach.
WHY :
Actors rarely get to choose when or how often they appear on film. Getting a role and seeing it on the big screen often depends on luck, timing, or decisions by directors, casting directors, or producers.
This workshop puts you in control: decide how often you perform, which roles to take, and develop your visibility. Regular on-camera experience is essential for any professional actor, and visibility is a key factor in employability and professional recognition.
Your skills and screen experience become proof of your credibility, making it easier for productions to entrust you with lead roles.
LANGUAGE
Performances can be in Romanian or English (scripts provided in both languages). On-set communication with Julien Javions is primarily in English. Basic English comprehension is required.
ABOUT JULIEN V. JAVIONS
Julien Javions is an award-winning French actor, director, and coach. He won Best Acting and Best Directing at the 2018 48H Film Project, and this year participated in Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest, managing the Managing Talent program for professional actors.
Julien has extensive experience in theatre and film across France, Ireland, and Romania. From street theatre to prestigious national drama centers in France, he has performed under directors including Marcel Bozonnet, Jacques Lassalle, and Mladen Materic.
With a foundation in classical theatre and a focus on realistic acting, Julien transitioned to film, appearing in French and Romanian productions. Observing actors’ challenges on set, he began coaching actors to adapt their craft for the camera.
In 2013, he founded Maison des Acteurs, an itinerant film school for actors, one of the few offering hands-on training under real filming conditions. Julien’s dual experience as actor and director makes his pedagogical approach a fertile creative environment for any actor seeking growth.
